Scratch-Made Since 2006

Trackside Pizza started with one idea: no shortcuts, ever. From a revived historic building on the Puyallup railroad tracks to two South Sound locations, every pie is still made from scratch using the finest, freshest ingredients available. With over three decades in the restaurant business through the Crockett’s Restaurant Group™, the focus has always been simple—high-quality food, historic spaces, and community-first dining.

A Historic Building, Revived

Since the Puyallup opening in early 2006, Trackside has been serving the community high quality food made with the finest, freshest ingredients we can find. We at Trackside, with 32 years in the restaurant business, take pride in taking buildings with historic value and renewing and investing in them. With the success of Trackside, Crockett’s Public House opened in early 2011 and was featured on the popular Food Network’s TV show, Diner’s, Drive-in’s and Dives™ shortly after. At Crockett’s we strive to serve the same high quality food that Trackside has served for 11 years. Trackside in Puyallup currently resides in a historical building built in the late 1800’s to early 1900’s, once the Puyallup Hotel. The opening of the 2nd Trackside Pizza on 1114 Main Street in Sumner became a reality in 2015, also located in another historical building. Built in 1925, this two story building had a large retail space on the first floor, and additional retail on the 2nd. Past businesses were Scotty’s 10 Cent Store, Valley Variety, the Nelson Candy Co., Hamilton Antiques, AJ Treasure Shack and a Beauty Shop. Watch for the opening of the 4th restaurant in the Crockett’s Restaurant Group™ coming soon to Downtown Puyallup. The Meridian Café, right next door to Trackside in Puyallup, will feature a warm but historical theme indicative of Puyallup and of course, same great food quality you would expect from the Crockett’s Restaurant Group™.

Every pie starts with hand-tossed dough, real whole-milk mozzarella, and fresh toppings, then bakes in a deck oven at 550°F until the crust is golden with just the right char. No shortcuts, no compromises—just consistent, scratch-made pizza.

Pie-Up!! gives kids the chance to build their own pizza—choose dough, sauce, cheese, and up to three toppings—then bring it to the counter to be baked. It’s a simple, hands-on experience that keeps families coming back.
